Vladimir Mosque Firebombed

A mosque in Vladimir, Russia was firebombed, according to an October 23, 2006 report by the national daily Komsomolskaya Pravda. On the evening of October 22, someone threw a Molotov cocktail through the mosque’s window. Fortunately, the window was made of reinforced glass, which the missile only partially shattered before bouncing back on the ground. The resulting flames were extinguished by parishioners.
